I think your best bet would be to call the Butte Chamber of Commerce and make the reservation over the phone.

Just looked at my credit card statement, and we paid $15 per person on July 19, 2015.

You can call ahead for reservations. You can also show up the day of and see if there are seats available.

Yes, I would recommend it. We did and our time slot was then full, but the earlier time slot only had four people on it. When you call, it is a young man on the staff just placing your name …

Yes, I would recommend it. We did and our time slot was then full, but the earlier time slot only had four people on it. When you call, it is a young man on the staff just placing your name in a simple notebook, and when you arrive and give your name, you pay, and he gives you a ticket that gets you on the trolly.
