There is a small parking garage on 5th street. It is located right next to The Queen. The nice thing about that is, if you are attending an event at The Queen you don't pay for parking. I personally have never had an issue with it being late at night at that location and I have attended more than one event. There is other areas of Wilmington I would say to be a little unsafe after hours but for the most part I always felt comfortable.
