Cyber Monday is the Monday after Thanksgiving. This year, it's on Dec. 1. Over time, Cyber Monday has expanded into a full seven days of slashed prices. While it officially starts at 12 a.m. on Dec. 1, some retailers will roll out deals ahead of time.

While Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales are obviously prime time for holiday gift shopping, I also take them as an opportunity to find deals on home decor items that my space has been missing — like the rug that’ll bring my whole living room together or a new table lamp to replace the finicky one that’s been on my nightstand for years.
