The CPI(M) and the Congress recently held a series of protests in Tripura demanding Union minister Amit Shah’s resignation over his controversial remarks on Dr BR Ambedkar in Rajya Sabha.

The members of the CPI, CPI, CPI Liberation, RSP, AIFB and CGPI raised slogans against Shah during the protest and demanded that he should be removed from his post.
