A portion of US Route 322 west is closed in Dauphin County Monday morning due to a crash. The wreck was first reported around 6:15 a.m., according to emergency dispatchers. PennDOT reports that a multi-vehicle crash has shut down all westbound lanes from one mile west of Exit 14: Middletown/Hummelstown to Bridge Road.
Coroner called to Route 322 crash in Dauphin County
Spokeswoman Fritzi Schreffler confirmed the Dauphin County coroner’s office was called to a crash on Route 322 west near Fiddlers Elbow Road in Derry Township. The box truck’s occupant crashed into the Fiddlers Elbow overpass and overturned around 6:15 a.m., Schreffler said.

Deadly crash claims life of child in Dauphin County
DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A child has died following a crash in Dauphin County just after 6pm Friday. Police say they arrived to the crash on US-22/322 just north Elmerton Avenue to find a child suffering from serious injuries in one of the vehicles. The child was taken to a local hospital but succumbed to their injuries.
