Arsenal’s hope of winning the Premier League title this season suffered a huge blow on Saturday night after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Brighton. The Gunners were hoping to close the gap to leaders Liverpool to three points at the Amex.

Arsenal blew a chance to make up significant ground on Premier League leaders Liverpool on Saturday with a disappointing draw at Brighton as Manchester City pummelled West Ham 4-1.

After Bournemouth, Brighton lost twice and drew five times, sliding to tenth in the league rankings. On the other hand, Arsenal look refreshed and ready to give Liverpool a fair fight in the title race. They are now six points behind in the standings, having also played a game more than Liverpool.
