Freakier Friday is a follow-up to the original Freaky Friday, which sees mother Tess (Curtis) and daughter Anna ( Lindsay Lohan) swap bodies, which ultimately helps strengthen their relationship. In its sequel, viewers see another body swap, but this time, it adds a multigenerational twist. Chad Michael Murray also returns in the film.

Jamie Lee Curtis has hit back at a review of her new film Freakier Friday, claiming she found the withering feedback “a tad harsh.” Curtis, 66, stars alongside Lindsay Lohan, 39, in the sequel to their 2003 body-swap family comedy Freaky Friday.

"SOME people LOVE it," the actress says in response to a Time movie critic, who wrote: "'Freakier Friday' Is Humiliating to Everyone Involved"
