Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the United States has brought him to New York. On Sunday, Modi addressed an estimated 13,000 people at a cultural celebration at Long Island's Nassau Coliseum.

"All of you are, and always have been, the strongest brand ambassadors of India," Modi said, delivering the speech in Hindi to a packed arena on New York's Long Island, almost exactly 10 years following an address he gave at Madison Square Garden soon after becoming prime minister in 2014.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi rallied the Indian community in the U.S. on Sunday, citing the power of the diaspora ahead of the Nov. 5 U.S. presidential election along with the importance of the 2024 contest and democracy in general.
