KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police in Kansas City, Missouri, launched a homicide investigation following a shooting early Sunday night. Police were called around 7:30 p.m. Sunday on a reported shooting at 18th and Prospect.

Kansas City police are investigating a homicide after a man was found shot to death Sunday evening near 18th Street and Benton Boulevard. Police responded to a shooting call around 7:15 p.m. in the area of 18th and Prospect Avenue.
