Winter Weather Advisories have been issued for two areas of Michigan, both calling for some heavy snow and possibly difficult travel conditions on the roads. These two advisory areas are also hundreds of miles apart and have different timing, so let’s separate it out for you here:

Much of Northern Michigan is under a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for snow and messy roads later Sunday night through Monday. Additional snow is expected on Monday with lake effect. Colder this week with highs only in the teens,

According to the National Weather Service, the advisory begins at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, and lasts until 7 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13.
