A 59-year-old man is dead after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a deer over the weekend near the Michigan-Wisconsin border, authorities said.

A ll northbound lanes of Interstate 35W near downtown Fort Worth were closed to traffic early Monday morning because of a fatal crash that involved a motorcycle, authorities said.

Sheiff Ed Gonzalez said an investigation remains underway after he says a motorcyclist went over the SH-99 ramp and was pronounced dead.

According to the Ada County Coroner, the man driving the motorcycle was identified as 19-year-old Wyatt Warren, of Star. He was pronounced dead at the scene after life-saving measures were unsuccessful. He sustained the injuries while in a single motorcycle collision while making a turn onto Joplin Road.

Deputies said the motorcyclist went over the ramp on Hwy 99 and died upon impact. The ramp was shut down as a result while authorities investigate the deadly crash.
