Philippine Vice President Sara Duterte will no longer sit on the National Security Council after President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. signed an order removing her office from the agency, following a bitter split between the two former allies last year.

Under EO 81, two Dutertes are no longer members of the NSC – Vice President Sara Duterte and her father, former president Rodrigo Duterte

The National Security Council is the government body formed to advise the President "on matters of national defense and shall make recommendations on such other subjects as the President may from time to time submit for study and consideration.
