Microsoft has restored services to Russia-backed refiner Nayara Energy, the Indian company's lawyer told a New Delhi court, days after the U.S. tech giant terminated services due to European Union sanctions.

Earlier this week, Microsoft suspended its services to Nayara Energy after the European Union included the company in a new round of sanctions against Russia over the Ukraine war.

Nayara Energy withdrew its lawsuit against Microsoft after the restoration of essential digital services. The Delhi High Court allowed the withdrawal, granting Nayara the option to return if issues arise again.
