The Brooklyn Nets agreed to a one-year contract with Ricky Council IV on Friday, per ESPN's Shams Charania. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed

Council, an undrafted signee from Arkansas, worked his way from a two-way deal to a standard one and averaged 6.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 105 games with the Sixers. As Philadelphia moves forward, it decided to cut ties with Council which opened the door for him to sign with the Nets.
