Actress Kim Delaney was released from jail Tuesday, and prosecutors opted not to pursue felony assault charges from a weekend arrest in Los Angeles.

Kim Delaney is off the hook following her arrest over an incident with her husband. The “NYPD Blue” alum, 63, will not be charged despite allegedly trying to mow down her significant other, James Morgan, over the weekend.

The arrest followed a domestic disturbance at Delaney's Southern California home that also resulted in the arrest of her husband, police said.

A police spokesperson confirmed their arrests to PEOPLE and said Delaney was arrested on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon
