The Philadelphia Eagles had one of their most interesting NFL Drafts in recent memory. This isn't due to the top end of the draft not being as strong as in previous years or the better players remaining in college due to making more money there,

The Philadelphia Eagles finished the 2025 NFL Draft with 10 selections. As reigning Super Bowl champions, they operated from the back end of the rounds. The positioning forced the Eagles’ war room to be more strategic.

But there will be other roster battles among the players signed in free agency, mostly veterans on a low-cost one-year deals. For now, that gives the rest of the rookie class a chance to adjust to the NFL. If they adjust faster, they'll play sooner.
