The United States Coast Guard said three people were recovered and found unresponsive after a plane crash in Monterey County on Saturday. The Monterey County Sheriff's Office later said the three were dead.

Three people were aboard the twin-engine Beechcraft when it crashed off Monterey County, according to the Coast Guard. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
