As Powerball nears $1 billion in December 2025, players in Florida have won $1 million prizes. 7-Eleven, Circle K, Thorntons, Town Star sold tickets.

The Powerball jackpot has swelled to an estimated $1.1 billion after no player won the grand prize in Saturday night's drawing, according to the Powerball website. The numbers drawn were: 1, 28, 31, 57 and 58 with Powerball 16. The next drawing is set for Monday night.

Powerball made history on Jan. 11, 2016, the first time a lottery jackpot hit $1 billion. When no one matched all five numbers plus the Powerball in the (Saturday) Jan. 9, 2016, drawing for $949 million, the Monday jackpot soared to $1.4 billion. (No one won that drawing either.)

The Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $930 million as no one won the big prize in Monday night's drawing.

One ticket matching all five Powerball numbers during the Dec. 8 drawing was sold on the Treasure Coast, leaving the winner with a $1 million win.
