After taking two of three from the Dodgers over the weekend, the Red Sox are in Minnesota to open a three-game series with the Twins.
The Sox have informed left-hander Connelly Early and right-hander David Sandlin that they have been promoted to Triple-A ahead of this week’s series against Lehigh Valley. Beyond The Monster’s Andrew Parker first reported the news.
In the fifth inning, Anthony drilled an opposite-field RBI triple against Dodgers starter Dustin May and Bregman followed by blasting a two-run homer over the Monster Seats to put the Sox ahead, 4-3.
