Former Longhorn quarterback Sam Ehlinger is signing with the Denver Broncos, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter. It will be Ehlinger's first new NFL team after he spent his first three NFL seasons with the Indianapolis Colts.

The Indianapolis Colts have seen the majority of their in-house free agents sign elsewhere this offseason.A new one was added to the list this week: the team's 2020 7th-round pick, Sam Ehlinger, left the Colts to sign with the Denver Broncos.

Schultz adds that Ehlinger had multiple offers, but chose the Broncos as the best fit under head coach Sean Payton and quarterbacks coach Davis Webb. Schultz did not report who the other teams were that were interested in Ehlinger. Ehlinger joins a quarterback room with Bo Nix and Jarrett Stidham.
