In case you didn’t know already, the 2025 Toyota GR Corolla benefits from a few upgrades and one notable addition, namely an eight-speed automatic transmission. It’s now on sale in Canada, and likely more expensive than you ever thought a Corolla could be.

The eight-speed automatic adds $2,000 to the price, bringing it to $40,860 for the cheapest two-pedal model. These prices exclude a $1,135 dealer processing and handling fee.
