Jeff Bridges and Jared Leto took to the Hall H stage to talk about the upcoming "Tron: Ares," the third film in the sci-fi franchise.

“I didn’t want to offend him as a thespo,” Bridges continued, addressing Leto, who is known as a method actor. “But I thought, ‘I wanted to have a certain intimacy with you. I know your name is Ares. Can I just call you Air?’ He said, ‘Yeah man! You can call me whatever you want!’ We had a great time.”

Directed by Joachim Rønning ("Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales"), "Tron: Ares" is now seemingly confirmed as a sequel to 2010's "Tron: Legacy" and stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, and Cameron Monaghan, with cameos by Gillian Anderson and Jeff Bridges.

Ares trailer doesn't feature Sam Flynn, but it does tease that the TRON: Legacy character will factor into the new film in some way.
