P resident Donald Trump threatened the Washington Commanders football team, saying he will not facilitate a deal for the team's new stadium to be built in Washington, D.C., if it does not revert to its former name.

"I may put a restriction on them that if they don't change the name back to the original ‘Washington Redskins,' and get rid of the ridiculous moniker, ‘Washington Commanders,'" the president said.
