President Trump ratcheted up his fight with the legal industry, aiming an executive order at Paul Weiss, one of the country’s top law firms.

The Senate passed the bill 54-46 on Friday. The Democrats who voted to pass the funding bill were Schumer and Sens. John Fetterman (D-PA), Angus King (I-VT), Dick Durbin (D-IL), Brian Schatz (D-HI), Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Gary Peters (D-MI), Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), and Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH).

President Donald Trump of the United States on Saturday signed into law a six-month funding bill, averting a government shutdown. In a post on X, White House Spokesperson Harrison Fields said Trump signed the bill and thanked Democrats who joined Republicans to approve the continuing measure.
