The WNBA extended its regular-season broadcasting agreement with ION, but commissioner Cathy Engelbert apparently left the players out.

Friday's WNBA slate has a pair of contests, with the Atlanta Dream hosting the Chicago Sky at 7:30 p.m. ET, followed by Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings taking on the Las Vegas Aces at 10 p.m. ET.

A near double-double from Angel Reese was not enough to lead the Chicago Sky to a victory over the Atlanta Dream.

The game is scheduled to start at 10 p.m. EDT and will be broadcast on ION. WNBA regular-season games will continue to air on ION after the league and Scripps reached a multiyear media rights deal.

WNBA viewership grew 133 percent with more than 23 million unique viewers on Friday Night Spotlight year over year.

The WNBA selects All-Stars from a combination of fan, player, media and coach voting. Fans account for 50% of the initial vote, while player and media selections account for 25% each. The league will then combine all of those scores, and the four frontcourt players and six guards with the top combined votes will become the All-Star starters.
