Jay Johnson and the LSU Tigers made a statement on Saturday night after taking down the Arkansas Razorbacks 4-1 at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha (Neb.). LSU, led by left-hander Kade Anderson, handled business to move into the winner's bracket with a matchup against the UCLA Bruins set for Monday night at 6 p.

LSU baseball began its College World Series with a 4-1 victory over Arkansas on Saturday. The Tigers are well-positioned in the winners' bracket, while Arkansas will be forced to climb out of the losers' bracket. With the victory, the Tigers advance to play UCLA on Monday at 6 p.m. CT at Charles Schwab Field. The contest will be broadcast on ESPN.

The Tigers got the win over their SEC rivals, and the Bruins put the Racers' Cinderella run one game away from ending.
