First spotted by @leopeva64 last month and now confirmed working by Android expert Mishaal Rahman for Android Authority, Google Chrome can already open PDFs inline using Android's built-in PDF reader.

Unfortunately, this PDF viewing hasn’t been in the Android app and we have instead had to use 3rd party apps, like Google Drive to do what Chrome on desktops has done.
