The Kansas City men and Iowa, Drake, Omaha and Kansas women all picked up wins in regional college soccer on Sunday.

HOLLIDAYSBURG — State College won its sixth consecutive District 6 Class 4A boys soccer championship Wednesday night at drizzly Tiger Stadium. But its opponent, Altoona, certainly provided the champs with a run for their money.

The Peninsula College men’s soccer team will have to wait another game to lock up a North Region championship after a 2-2 tie with Shoreline on the road Saturday.

Northwest Missouri State, Kansas City and Kansas were winners while ISU, Iowa and Missouri settled for draws in regional college women’s soccer on Sunday.
