ATLANTA — A significant cold snap will take over as arctic air plunges across north Georgia this weekend. We're issuing a Weather Impact Alert for prolonged sub-freezing temperatures, as well as the possibility for accumulating snowfall on Saturday.
“Confidence is low for snow in the north and central Georgia areas as a whole this weekend,” Meredith Wyatt with the National Weather Service told the Telegraph. “Far eastern Georgia, well east of Macon, could see wintry precipitation, but our main concern is a return to much colder temperatures”
