Ghislaine Maxwell has been moved from a federal prison in Florida to a low-security camp in Texas amid renewed public interest in her case. Convicted of sex trafficking in 2021, she is appealing her conviction while facing scrutiny from Congress regarding her involvement in the Epstein scandal.

Maxwell's move to the Federal Prison Camp comes a week after she met with the deputy U.S. Attorney General, who said he wanted to speak with her about anyone else who may have been involved in Epstein's crimes.

Maxwell’s transfer to a minimum-security prison raises concerns that the Trump administration is preparing to pardon her in exchange for favorable testimony about the president’s long friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.
