Catherine O'Hara had nothing but respect for her Home Alone co-star by revealing the actor was not concerned with fame or popularity.
Following Home Alone, Heard was cast in Awakenings (1990), Gladiator (1992), The Pelican Brief (1993), White Chicks (2004) and more. He was also a series regular on shows such as The Client, Prison Break and The Sopranos, for which he received an Emmy nomination in 1999 for his guest role as Detective Vin Makazian.
O’Hara, who played Culkin’s mom Kate in the films, died at her home in Los Angeles “following a brief illness,” according to a statement from her agency, Creative Artists Agency. The actress’ cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Catherine O'Hara, the Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning star of Home Alone, Beetlejuice, and Schitt's Creek, died on Friday at age 71. She is survived by her husband, Bo Welch, and two sons, Matthew and Luke Welch.
