Minecraft developer Mojang is switching the Java Edition's graphics API from OpenGL to Vulkan ahead of its Vibrant Visuals update.
Mojang warned that many popular mods will be affected by this change and wants to help mod authors port over their work.
Work continues for the Vibrant Visuals update to come to Minecraft Java, and as part of that they're switching the rendering from OpenGL to Vulkan.
