EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The New York Giants signed former Denver Broncos wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey to a one-year contract on Friday. The 26-year-old Humphrey gives the Giants depth behind projected starters Malik Nabers, Wan’Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton, who was re-signed last week.

Lil'Jordan Humphrey has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the New York Giants, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Humphrey (6-4, 225 pounds) entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Texas with the New Orleans Saints in 2019.

After the Broncos signed two-time Pro Bowl tight end Evan Engram in free agency, though, Denver’s stable of pass-catchers deepened, and it would’ve likely been difficult for Humphrey to carve out a consistent share of targets.
