NEW JERSEY (PIX11) — A powerful snowstorm hit New Jersey hard on Sunday. NJ Transit trains were suspended as of 2 p.m. and speed limits across the state are restricted as the heaviest brunt of the storm moves through the tri-state.
The monster snow and ice storm hitting New Jersey on Sunday has caused significant flight cancellations at Newark Liberty International Airport. At least 894 arriving and departing flights are canceled for Sunday as of 7:30 a.m., according to FlightAware data. Another 235 flights are canceled already for Monday.
