VERMILLION, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The University of South Dakota has unveiled a new secondary logo for the Coyotes. The modern, sleek design features a coyote with red eyes and a snarl.

Based in the city of Vermillion, the University of South Dakota is the oldest of the six public institutions now overseen by the state’s Board of Regents, who are appointed directly by the governor.
