Primarily known for producing rifles, Winchester once dabbled in making revolvers, with this particular one being designed by William Mason, a famous gunsmith, in the 1880s.

Sadly, there aren’t a lot of lever gun cartridges to choose from anymore. The first successful lever-action rifle chambered for a centerfire cartridge was the Winchester 1873 in 44-40 Winchester.
