The Athletic's Michael Silver, Dianna Russini and Alec Lewis reported on March 15 it was "possible" that Rodgers could opt to retire rather than join the Steelers or New York Giants. Pittsburgh will reportedly host Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders for a visit Thursday, per multiple media reports. Sanders, 23, is considered the second-best quarterback available in the 2025 NFL Draft, behind presumptive No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward.
