Bryson DeChambeau returns to the 2025 U.S. Open as the defending champion and golf’s YouTube king, at least among the pro ranks.

On Tuesday at the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont, Bryson DeChambeau gave one young U.S. Open fan a lifelong memory with a challenge — and a gift.

The most interesting man in golf was at it in full force on Tuesday in advance of this week’s U.S. Open at Oakmont.

The 31-year-old, speaking to the media before his appearance at the US Open, emphasized the connection between golfers and the crowd, giving Tiger Woods as a great example of that.

Bryson DeChambeau has put a lot of work into growing his brand both on and off the competitive golf course, with his popular YouTube channel playing a big role in expanding his fan base.

OAKMONT, Pa. — Listen in on a Bryson DeChambeau press conference these days and there is a 99.9 percent chance the topic of his YouTube channel comes up. And it's never him forcing the issue, either. That said, when a question about it does come up, he's happy to ramble.

Under contract with LIV Golf, DeChambeau is one of the many top stars in the sport the fan-base at large rarely sees, as the majority of the viewing audience at home only gets to see Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson and Co. when they cross paths with the PGA Tour pros at majors.

Also a member of LIV Golf, Phil pointed out that Bryson has many great qualities that make him such a unique person and quality golfer.

Top golfer Bryson DeChambeau recently got a taste of the Beehive State — and at least five different energy drinks. In a YouTube Short uploaded on Monday, DeChambeau is shown visiting a golf course, mountain range and the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah while promoting his partnership with an energy drink brand.

Bryson DeChambeau is chasing his second consecutive U.S. Open crown — and third overall — during golf’s third major championship of the season which began Thursday at storied Oakmont Country Club, just outside of Pittsburgh.
