Opinion is sharply divided as to how high the superhero pic can fly when it hits theaters, with some suggesting a much lower range of $90 million to $120 million.

DC Studios co-head and "Superman" writer/director James Gunn has finally responded to online controversy over a shot from the very first teaser for the film. Gunn says the shot in question didn't have finished visual effects and was one he had taken out of the movie.
