Police say Andrew James McGann didn't know the Brinks, who were attacked with a knife in front of their children at Devil's Den State Park

Andrew James McGann had been hired as an educator by Arkansas' Springdale Public Schools for the 2025-2026 school year, school officials said.

Clinton David Brink, 43, and Cristen Amanda Brink, 41, were found dead Saturday at the park in Washington County, police said. They were hiking with their daughters, ages 7 and 9.
