A Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office dive team and marine units from Sonoma and Napa counties located the body about 11:20 a.m. in the water near the Hacienda Bridge, Sgt. Juan Valencia said. The remains were found near where a man used a rope swing Saturday to jump into the water and never resurfaced.

Authorities are searching for the body of a man who is thought to have drowned in the Russian River at the Hacienda Bridge Saturday.
