The Phoenix Suns have agreed to a one-year deal with free agent guard Jared Butler, per a report from Shams Charania of ESPN.

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Butler will now sign a deal with the Phoenix Suns.

Initially on a two-way deal, the Sixers converted Butler to a standard deal and he averaged 11.5 points, 4.9 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in 28 games with 17 starts.

In fact, the Sixers could make up the difference and then some if they convince Eric Gordon to decline his $3.5 million player option, even if they intend to re-sign him on a one-year min deal.
