Cleveland Guardians pitcher Gavin Williams no-hit the Mets through 8.1 innings until Juan Soto launched a solo home run in the ninth to get on the board. It didn't make a difference in the outcome, though, as Cleveland won 4-1. New York is now 1-8 in the last nine games.

Williams (7-4) walked three and struck out six, including Francisco Lindor to lead off the ninth, but Soto followed with a home run to center field.
