Ford just unveiled the special-edition Mustang GTD Spirit of America. The patriotic-themed variant has a special color scheme and aero kit.

The most extreme Mustang of all time has already received a special edition variant by way of the new 2025 Ford Mustang GTD Spirit of American Edition.

The new Ford Mustang GTD Spirit of American Special Edition boasts 815 horsepower and will be showcased at the 2025 Detroit Auto Show

The super coupe's 815-hp supercharged V-8 remains the same, but a host of styling and aerodynamic tweaks make this edition special.

Each GTD Spirit of America model comes standard with the Performance package and exposed carbon-fiber exterior pieces. Plus, the “Mustang” name appears on the underside of the rear wing, and its end plates are Race Red. Customers also get to pick between Race Red or exposed carbon fiber mirror caps.

The Mustang GTD Spirit of America is a celebration of American ingenuity and engineering, and of the Mustang's record-breaking performances on the track.
