Tencent Holdings, China’s tech giant, is reportedly reviewing a $15 billion acquisition of Korean game developer Nexon, according to a Bloomberg report published Thursday.

Tencent (HK:700) will release "Dungeon and Fighter: Origin" game on May 21, South Korean-founded video game publisher Nexon Co. (JP:3659) said in a press release.

Tencent ADRs rose 1.6% in premarket trading in New York while its Hong Kong-traded shares gained 2.9% to end at HK$279.40. Shares of South Korean-based Nexon surged around 22% in Tokyo.
