NFL free agency officially began with the new league year kicking off at 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday. There were plenty of moves made during the legal tampering period on Monday and Tuesday, but those deals were basically handshake agreements.

We are back again with another mock draft ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft, and this week, the powers-that-be gifted the Miami Dolphins another draft pick in the form of an additional compensatory 7th round selection.

The Miami Dolphins once lost a first-round draft pick because they hired Don Shula and it ticked off the Baltimore Colts. The Dolphins more recently lost a first-rounder because of tampering related to overtures to Tom Brady and Sean Payton.

The NFL revised its compensatory pick calculations, resulting in the Dolphins going back to 10 total selections, from 11.
