Measles cases related to the outbreak have been reported in 19 Texas counties since late January, with two-thirds located in Gaines County at 315, followed by Terry County with 43 cases, Lubbock County with 33 cases, Dawson County with 20, and Yoakum County with 17.
A third unvaccinated person has died from measles-related causes. The child was school-aged and lived in West Texas, which has nearly 500 cases.
