Ludvig Aberg withdrew from the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Friday, citing illness. After finishing as runner-up of the weather-shortened event last year, the 25-year-old Swede was among the betting favorites this week and a popular choice in fantasy golf circles.

Ludvig Aberg has withdrawn before the second round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Aberg, 25, turned in a first-round 77 on Thursday at Spyglass, which was last among the 80-player field and 13 shots behind the lead. According to the PGA Tour, Aberg cited illness as the reason for pulling out.
