NEW YORK (WBNG) -- The National Weather Service in Binghamton issued a flood warning from March 5, 11:16 a.m. to March 8, 2:30 a.m. Officials advised a flood warning for the Tioughnioga River at Cortland, which affects Cortland County, and the West Branch Delaware at Walton, which affects Delaware County.
But as February's storms and cold snaps fade to memory, forecasts are showing some mild weather might be sticking around for Delaware. In fact, AccuWeather meteorologists say warmer, "springlike" weather is on the horizon for much of the country by mid-March.
Experts who track the Delaware's evolving climate and weather patterns will discuss concerns and issues at the 2025 RASCL summit in Dover on March 5.
Does it feel like Delaware has received more snow than normal? If has, but only in certain areas. Here's what we know.
