Trump lashed out against Colorado Gov. Jared Polis for his alleged refusal to pardon the prison sentence of a 70-year-old, former county election clerk.

Colorado state officials and the Colorado County Clerks Association are asking Gov. Jared Polis to deny a request that would transfer former Mesa County Clerk and Recorder Tina Peters from state to federal custody.

Peters was convicted last year on state charges after participating in a breach of Mesa County’s voting systems.
